About Me
My name is Amanda King, and I am a Senior at LHS. I'm 17 years old and the youngest of the three kids in my family, I'm also the only girl. I was born and raised here in Lindsay in a family of five, six if you count my old dog Misty. When I was younger school was my escape, not from my family but from everything else. From my thoughts. I always enjoyed school, because school is where my friends were, it was where my best friend was.
I do not recall exactly what elementary was like, but I remember my friends, all of them. Though remembering them all isn't so hard considering I didn't have too many, but that's how I wanted it to be. I'd rather have two or three close friends than twenty people who were more like acquaintances.
Entering High School was different from everything I expected, though I could blame that on my obsession with watching High School dramas. I've met so many influential people here; other students, teachers, the other staff members. They all have so much wisdom to give, so much advice that pushes people like myself to work harder and faster than I ever have before. I haven't always listened to them, and sometimes I still don't, which is my own problem.
I've also made many more friends, and I love them. They get me, and they're weird like myself, and to be honest I don't see them as my friends. I see them as family. They're there for me no matter what.
